General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE) has announced the appointment of Eric Gebhardt as a senior general manager and vice president in G.E.’s Energy Services, a business within G.E.’s energy unit.
Gebhard has previously held a number of leadership roles in G.E. Energy during his 19 years with the company. Previously, Gebhardt was a senior general manager of Energy Services Engineering for G.E. Energy where he served as a manager during the expansion of the business group to include GE Energy’s new Smart Grid solutions. Gebhardt also led the integration of a number of engineering functions in various business units of G.E. into the energy services division. Gebhardt also was a general manager for GE Energy’s Wind Systems Engineering organization and for the Optimization Services Technology business.
Gebhard earned a B.S. in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
