Citigroup, Inc (NYSE: C) Hires Three Metal Executives

Citigroup, Inc (NYSE: C) has hired Heath Jansen as its head of European metals and mining research. The New York-based bank has also hired  two additional executives for its metals dvision.

Jansen returned to Citigroup, Inc (NYSE: C) in May and will now coordinate research and analysts globally and cover various metals companies including BHP Billiton, a London-based spokeswoman for the bank to Business Week. Jansen had worked at Citigroup, Inc (NYSE: C) between 2005 and 2009, but left to become a founding partner of Verulam Resources Fund, a hedge fund investing in commodities.

The New York-based bank hired two other metal executives, Anindya Mohinta and Tom O’Hara. Anindya Mohinta came from Marble Bar Asset Management LLP and will cover metals and steel companies. Tom O’Hara was hired from Metal Bulletin.
