Bank of America Merrill Lynch (NYSE: BAC) Picks Up Former AIG (NYSE: AIG) Executive

Bank of America’s Merrill Lynch (NYSE: BAC) has appointed former AIG (NYSE: AIG) executive Randall Lynch as the managing director within the Americas industrials investment banking business, according to a recently released statement from the bank.

Randal Lynch is New York based and will report directly to John Pratt, who is the managing director and head of global diversified industries corporate and investment banking business.

Mr Lynch is joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch from American International Group (AIG) where he has spent the last year leading the efforts to restructure and divest the firm of several business units. Previously, he had spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley as a managing director where he provided strategic advisory services and managed complex financing for corporations in the defense and aerospace sectors. Lynch was also an associate in the mergers and acquisitions group at the now failed Lehman Brothers.
