Wells Fargo’s mortgage refinance rates have hit another all-time low. Currently borrowers are getting mortgage refinances at 4.15% for 15-year fixed-rate mortgages. 30-year fixed-rate mortgages are at 4.54%, which is just above its all-time low of 4.49% that was hit last-week.
The previous record low for Wells Fargo’s 30 year fixed-rate mortgage on a weekly basis was 4.61% during March of 2009, but that record is like to be beaten when this week’s final data is released to the public.
Wells Fargo, Bank of America and others have done an excellent job of positioning themselves by offering these low interest rates through the use of search engine marketing, television and billboard campaigns. These two banks realize how important it is to get potential homebuyers in their door.
Bank of America also saw new record lows this week with its 30-year fixed rate dropping down to 4.55%, which was down from the previous week where the average rate was at 4.61%.
